VISION AUSTRALIA

An awareness campaign to educate the sighted community about what it’s really like to live with low vision. 

While this campaign was designed to educate the sighted community, we needed to make sure the low vision community felt genuinely seen, heard and represented. So we co-created it with a working group and copywriter who have lived experience of living with low vision. Their authentic voices, wit, humour and smarts drive the campaign. All the videos were filmed to ensure we could create audio described edits for a low vision audience.

The results have been phenomenal in terms of engagement and impact with both sighted and low vision communities, with over two million Australians watching the videos in full and over 80,000 clicking through to the website to learn more about how to be inclusive.
